PWInsider reports that Becky Lynch has filmed a supporting role in Happy Gilmore 2, the upcoming sequel to the 1990s comedy classic starring Adam Sandler. This sequel is set to release on Netflix later this year.

Reports suggest that Lynch plays a member of a rival group of golfers, which also includes football star Reggie Bush. Although details about her role remain under wraps, it’s confirmed that she has already filmed her scene. Moreover, the film has another professional wrestling star — AEW star MJF.

Even multi-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny, who has had several matches in WWE, is in the film. Both appeared briefly in the teaser trailer that dropped a few weeks ago. The film has several connections to the professional wrestling world. However, this isn’t Lynch’s first time acting, as she has made appearances in movies and TV shows like The Marine 6, The Vikings, Billions, and Young Rock.
