I don't understand, If Israel isn't listening to you, then simply urge them to listen by putting aid or even sanctions on the line. You're giving them so much unnecessary leverage and lenience– it is no wonder they took advantage of it and became so brutish.

Can anyone explain how Israel is a legal state? It never fulfilled its obligations for its creation (so its an illegal entity with an illegal occupation? It should have no legal authority over Palestine territories. Why is Israel not banned from UN.? They have no respect for humanity or any laws,, obviously neither does the US.

Lawyers sitting in Australia have no knowledge of the situation in the Middle East , so not qualified to give advice . The idea that Jihadi terrorist organisation is fit to run the administration of Gaza is ridiculous > to take the word of a ministry whose sole stated purpose is to destroy the State of Israel is beyond naive . There are many non political organisations that could be trusted to distribute aid but they would need Israeli help because there are bandits in Gaza ; stealing the aid or diverting money to buying weapons and building tunnels that do not benefit the civilian population .

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has less than 19,000 employees worldwide to manage 29.4 million refugees across the world, not to mention the tens of millions more internally displaced persons, asylum seekers and stateless people across 135 countries. UNRWA, on the other hand, employs 30,000 people, in Gaza to service a claimed figure of 5.9 million refugees across the region.
This system of inheriting refugee status is the worlds largest grift.

UNRWA perpetuates hatred of Jews and sustains the lie that Palestinians who left their homes in 1948 will one day be going back to those homes. They are not refugees! They are going to remain right where they are right now. They are home. Palestinians must accept the fact that Israel exists and is going to continue to exist. When they do that, there will be peace. Peace is entirely up to the Palestinians.
