Trump using catastrophes to politicize suffering & create enemies for people where there are none is truly sickening.
If you only wanted to help you could’ve done so with simple donations, this isn’t out of good will or compassion. It’s for political leverage & trying to turn disaster victims into voters by claiming their government isn’t helping them.
He shouldn’t even be at the disaster site. Only trained professionals and members apart of volunteer organizations should be there as they’ve been trained on how to effectively & efficiently accomplish the most important tasks in a timely manner.
Trump isn’t even a first responder. He can’t contribute meaningfully to these relief operations. He’s simply capitalizing off of desperation & destruction to market himself politically & pointing the finger at others to divide people in a time of crisis.
If grifting from schools & creating a indoctrination scheme for children with his mandated version of the Bible wasn’t ringing alarms for any rational adult than hopefully this’ll help you can see through the pathological, megalomaniacal lies he layers to create imaginary enemies that he then uses to spark outrage with.

I haven’t seen any aid to Siesta Key whatsoever since Helene in our area, none. We have had FPL restore, and the one Sarasota county vehicle we did see was blocking our helpers while using his iPad, it ran out of power and so he said he’d be back to do damage assessment when it was charged. Guess the county doesn’t have car chargers, they seemed lost and were blocking traffic anyway. Sheriffs were great first couple of nights after Helene, but then must have been needed elsewhere, hopefully they block access as we head in and out of Milton as we’ve had people walk up saying they’re neighbors or with a company and they’re not. Stay safe Milton looks awful.

The Hurricane Helene disaster relief response by our government is a total embarrassment to the country. The stories about government failure is absolutely true all over North Carolina. Thank God for the locals for doing the heavy lifting or the death toll would be much higher. So quit taking political sides and think about our fellow Americans. I have listened to many many many many people who are in the disaster right now saying for days they have been without help and it was many days before any sign of govt help came.
