This government is about to cause a massive increase in homelessness with the laws they are bringing in regarding private renting, the result of these laws is that many Landlords are selling their properties creating a shortage of rental properties. They are going to do the exact same thing to workers, make new laws which will make it unattractive to hire staff and conduct business in the UK, thus creating more unemployment and making it harder to find work.

Labour full of crap
@leebailey229
All decisions they make are instructions by the EU to align with the EU.

The two year employment law was being heavily exploited by IBM and other long established businesess. IBM were honest about it, some employers were taking people on with no intention of keeping them for more than 2 years, but not telling them.

@andromedanambassador
What does he think about labour cutting the fuel payments to retired people who were once workers. How about the rights of the elderly after a life of paying NI.
@ndnddjkdkdndnf
There is nothing for migrant workers in this bill although migrant workers are the victim of modern slavery and exploitation. Several migrant care workers were raped by employers. Uk should consider them as human being also.
@gregorygan2077
Criminalize the communist party. An ideology that committed genocide of over 100 million people only on the XX century
@rob5944
Asheya Hazarika's reaction to a challenge over maternity leave being available almost immediately to new employees was ridiculous on GMTV the other day. Of course employers are going to be wary of hiring female candidates in case they effectively loose thrm for six months. One should demonstrate a commitment to an organisation before receiving full employment rights, moreover it could damage the chances of quality female candidates for this exact reason. Kwasai Kartang, Edd Balls and Susanna Reid could hardly get a word in, once she got into her stride. Perhaps she actually gets paid to behave like this, awful.
@Msb-b3o
They live in cuckoo land how can private sector afford to employ people public sector yes endless bank account to pay for all the cock ups
@markhodgkinson1737
If these reforms do not apply to agency workers then Labour have failed the most vulnerable workers. It will make it impossible to get permanent contracts.
