This is a Classic Dump strategy. Say outrageous things, let the media post hundreds of stories about those words, then claim the opposition does the same, all while distracting the people from the real issues. The media falls for it over and over and should be ashamed.

This is an absolute lie. The comedian’s speech was vetted before it was uploaded on to the teleprompter, and the offensive racist remarks about Puerto Ricans were left in deliberately as deemed acceptable; the only remark not included was calling Kamala Harris a c..nt. The most damaging non response of the night is when Trump finally mounted the stage, he did not denounce the disgusting remark about Puerto Rico, and it took over twelve hours for his team to say Trump distances himself from these profoundly racist remarks. I think Puerto Ricans are intelligent enough to draw their own conclusions – do they really want this man representing them and starting the mass deportation of millions of their fellow LEGAL US citizens.
