“Russia has launched a new wave of counteroffensive operations in the Kharkiv sector,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukrainian commanders have been expecting a summer offensive for some time, but officials are adamant Russia does not have the resources to do so.
The defence ministry in Kyiv said “there was an attempt by the enemy to break through our defensive line under the cover of armoured vehicles. As of now, these attacks have been repulsed, fighting of varying intensity continues.”
The return of heavy fighting in the north-east further illustrates Russia’s growing confidence and ambition.

Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine with a population of 2,000,000 people (as of 2022) , the largest industrial center of the country, and was the capital of Ukraine from 1919 to 1934.

Why talk of US aid each time, is Europe and Ukraine a US state?

HeY BLACKROCK 👋 LOL YALL GOING BANKRUPT BEEEOOCH
@joseaugustofigueiredo2796
And the question is! Worth a black coconut! Did England fully trust the Democratic United States? Since it took a while to go to war and did not declare war on Nazism, it was Hitler who declared war on the United States, after the United States declared war on Japan.
Declassified documents reveal that USSR knew in advance about US nuclear tests
Even before July 1945, the Soviet Union's Intelligence Service received information about the first US atomic bomb test and its detailed design, as well as about the US production of nuclear "explosives", declassified Intelligence Service documents reveal. External Intelligence (SVR, its acronym in Russian).
Experts consider obtaining the information that helped create a Soviet nuclear weapon the "largest known intelligence operation in the Soviet Union, and perhaps in world history." Foreign and military intelligence in Moscow received from its agents in the USA, UK and other countries necessary information that allowed the Soviet Union to quickly create its own atomic bomb and thus end the US monopoly in this area
@joeo2533
This is fake news. Some correction is in order.
@historybuff07
The US spent $8 trillion on the Afghanistan war. Not sure how much the UK tax payer spent, but let’s see how much they spend on this one.

"Repels" yet they've lost 12 villages so far, how are you describing your things?😮
@michaelkelly9545
I love all the comments from the bots and Russian lovers but the fact of the matter is that Russia can’t even take the Donbas region after 2 years. Ukraine has no air support or navy. It’s really embarrassing if your Russian

You cannot believe what bbc says
@shadowreaver1851
What BS. The Russians seized over a dozen Ukrainian villages and are now much closer to Kharkiv. There’s geo location evidence to prove it yet the BBC says the Ukrainians “repelled” the Russian advance towards Kharkiv. This just proves the BBC is nothing more than a Propaganda arm for Ukraine not a credible news source.

Pelos comentários vemos como a BBC está totalmente desmoralizada .

The latest from the battle front ………
shows Russia making further gains in two other key areas, most notably towards the town of Chasiv Yar, which has become an important forward military position, and further south in the industrial town of Krasnohorivka, where Russian troops are now in control of the town’s main facility, a brick factory.
The battle front now favours Russia ………………..
Ukrainian forces are thinly stretched, with much less artillery than the Russians, grossly inadequate air defenses and above all a lack of soldiers. Their plight has been worsened by dry weather, allowing Russian mechanized units to move quickly across the dry ground
Russia has more than half a million men now inside Ukraine or at its borders. It is also “generating a division of reserves” to pour into the conflict
Ukraine suffers two critical vulnerabilities: insufficient manpower and sparse air defenses. Russia is exploiting both in a hurry, keen to establish facts on the ground before a new wave of Western aid can help
The tide has changed and Zelensky must accept that much of the territory now lost may not be recovered.
