Whitney Rose Tries New Hairstyles

Whitney Rose, 38, stars in the Real House Wives of Salt Lake City.  Rose is married to Justin Rose and has said that she had an “instant soul connection” with him. The show is currently in the middle of its fifth season and Rose reminds PEOPLE that back in the first season she also had her hair cut into a bob. But only her natural hair color. Rose also jokes by saying Whitney Leavitt from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives “stole” her look when Whitney decided to also cut her hair.

In December 2020, Rose shared her Instagram stories showing different cuts and colors she’s tried over the years. These styles range from long golden pixies, platinum bangs, and auburn hair to a buzz cut and the time she shaved her head completely. on the  January 8 episode, Rose revealed her new vibrant look. Rose has yet to post why she has a new ‘do, but she posts an Instagram video that was shared to WWHL’s Instagram account.

The Bad Guy

Rose often is seen as the “bad guy” because of her unapologetic attitude and willingness to stand out. She challenges others and embraces a villainous role. In interviews Rose explains that she doesn’t like confrontation and struggles with putting herself first, she has no problem standing up for others, even if it means appearing harsh or ” the villain”.  Rose comments that she does not want to be like everyone else.

“I guess if we’re going to lean into the villain thing, I think it’s only because we want to standout,” I don’t want to be like everyone else. If that makes me a villain, then I guess I’m a villain.”

Rose struggled to find her voice. But in an interview with PEOPLE, she spoke about the drama and how she was in the center of it. She says ” It was a lot of years of getting burned and screwed over by people.” It was really hard for her to put herself first. Rose does not like making people upset and doesn’t care how she’s viewed on the show.  When making the Instagram video Rose was shown in casual clothes and no makeup at the beginning of the video. Then, to full glam, new hair, silver dress, and matching heels for an iconic video.
