Some local residents in Bentham are pursuing legal action because of “forever chemicals” known as PFAS polluting their homes.

A foam manufacturer, Angus Fire, has a facility in the Yorkshire town, which is believed to be the most known PFAS-polluted place in the UK.

This programme can exclusively reveal that potential action against Angus Fire is being considered by the Environment Agency.

Angus Fire denies ignoring advice and say they always operated within industry standards.
