Ugandans on Saturday paid tributes to Olympian Rebecca Cheptegei, who died after her partner set her on fire in Kenya, ahead of her funeral in her family village. the 33-year-old, who debuted this summer in the women’s marathon at the Paris Olympics, succumbed to severe burns last week after being attacked by Kenyan Dickson Ndiema Marangach.

I think you need to blame your government more, not brands the sponsors
What can sponsors do when your country's police refuse to arrest abusive people.
And this doesn't happen in all African countries, I know in Ghana, you can't even threaten someone and get away with it.

This is the third woman being killed by her East African man in about a year. Yet, you women will go on social media and bash Nigerian men for being scammers..etc, and never want to date them. Yet, you have your east african men killing their women, and it some cases pouring hot water on them to disfigure them. I have heard a lot of instances of east african men beating and even killing their women, but of course, it would not be talked about, because it does not involve Nigerian men. East African women go ahead and keep dating your east african men.
