1) No plan exists for returning Crimea to Ukraine and, such a plan could not be successful without a war including against the population that knew peace since the 2014 orchestrated events. Such a plan would be a suicide and inflict huge devastation, not only for the people of Crimea. Morally, no one can force these people to die or to accept the administration of Kyiv again. Only they can request for reversing what they voted in 2014 and, until then, they have to have peace as an elementary right on this Earth. Economic sanctions, yes, may have an impact on their chosen path, but it is unlikely and so, the truth has to come out after 10+ years of lies and censorship and requesting their voices being heard are suffice (western media can go into Crimea and ask the residents from the streets if they voted in the referendum and if they keep their decisions as Russian citizens); 2) No plan exists to make the people that have suffered so much during the 8 years of so called "anti-terrorist" military campaign of the new "order from 2014" Kyiv`s authorities, where they were subject to brutal methods and war crimes in the hands of the fascist factions from Ukraine, to accept again Kyiv`s administration, though marginal "tuning dial indicators" on the borders through negotiations between Kyiv and Kremlin can settle peace in the region and in Europe in general and, all the radical fascist movements from Ukraine must be banned for the security of the entire area, while the killing or suppression by any means of the political opponents and dissidents from Ukraine must end, as this Kyiv regime came to look exactly like the Kremlin one, whether we like it or not. It is suffice the 9/11 events of the Al Qaida, the ISIS/ISIL born in Syria and Iraq, we need no such "democracy and security" in Europe and no killings and destructions as a result of irresponsible policies. Remember that what seems today to be an ally, tomorrow can be a deadly enemy and, the destruction of Nord Stream is more likely to be appropriated as means by terrorist organizations on Earth and, I guess none will like to have its civilian infrastructure destroyed as not even being involved in a conflict and, Ukraine is not the only country to posses the manpower and cheap means to do such terrorist acts although it acted in this field as a world premiere. And such actions are more likely to happen then the cheap rhetoric of ghost countries attacking other countries for land. And no, the way the US or NATO does not want to attack Russia, the same way Russia has no aggressive intentions against any European country or the US, but one Russian leader is seriously considering that NATO countries are preparing to attack Russia. The Ukrainian crisis that led to a civil war and degenerated into a regional war is an unfortunate case of political malpractice where the will of millions of people has been again completely disregarded which led to sufferings for 10+ years. Ukraine can join the EU and develop into a western style democracy with no opposition if this was the purpose of the 2014 events, but keep it limited to this purpose and do not extend the sufferings of millions of people to more people. "If", "as if" and "this will happen" are only cheap means of propaganda that I understand to be specific to North Korea and not to democratic countries.
