Brooklyn Beckham, the 25 year old son of football legend David Beckham and pop icon Victoria Beckham, is on the cusp of yet another career pivot.

Known for his eclectic pursuits, including a recent foray into hot sauce creation, photography, modelling, and even following in his father’s footballing footsteps, Brooklyn is now poised to make his mark in the food and beverage industry with the launch of his own brand, Cloud 23.

The name Cloud 23 not only resonates with his father’s iconic number 23 jersey from his stints at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy but also signifies Brooklyn’s growing influence in the culinary world.

This move comes hot on the heels of his collaboration with plant-based eatery Mora Mora, as he continues to expand the Beckham family’s business dynasty.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (January 13), Brooklyn showcased his latest creation while sporting Cloud 23 merchandise. He shared his recipe for a new smoothie, captioning the post: “The caption read: ‘Brooklyn’s Cloud smoothie by @brooklynpeltzbeckham Made with @birdman_life Falcon Vanilla Protein, mango, banana, coconut yogurt, hemp, water and coconut cream with berries.”

He added, “A cloudy smoothie that will fuel your resolutions to start the year on the right track. It doesn’t have Cloud23 sauce, but it actually tastes amazing with a drop of sweet jalapeno.”

Brooklyn first dipped his toes into the culinary waters back in 2021 amidst the pandemic with his video series, “Cookin with Brooklyn,” signalling the beginning of what appears to be a long-term passion project, reports the Daily Star.

Brooklyn has been at the centre of quite the media storm recently. His Netflix episode extravagance, clocking in at a staggering $100,000 a pop, provoked a barrage of criticism from viewers astonished by the bloated production crew of 62 per video.

Earning viral status for millions of views online, the series undoubtedly played its part in propelling Brooklyn into launching his Wesake brand.

At the brand’s inception, the young entrepreneur Brooklyn enthusiastically said: “Joining Wesake unites many of my different passions, including my fascination with Japan, cuisine, and my love for Sake.”

Touted to be sitting on a fortune worth £10 million, thanks to lucrative deals with luxury brands such as Tiffany & Co., Pepe Jeans, and the plant-based beverage purveyor Silk, Brooklyn certainly has an eclectic array of interests to keep him busy.

A beneficiary of his celebrity lineage, he’s donned multiple career moves ranging from photography – securing a gig shooting for Burberry at the tender age of 16 without prior formal training or experience – to modelling, and even publishing his own photograph collection, ‘What I See’, at age 18.

This book too, didn’t escape unscathed from the publics sceptical eye, with questions raised about Brooklyn’s photographic skill, particularly after one notably blurry snap of an elephant was accompanied by the caption: “Elephants in Kenya, so hard to photograph, but incredible to see.”

His culinary journey has been his most enduring endeavour to date, and in 2023, it was revealed that Beckham reportedly boasted a staggering net worth of £10 million.

It seems the former model-turned-photographer, chef, and now entrepreneur is making quite a financial success of his varied career.
