Children injured in bus crash

Hi, student on the bus here. People say the driver hit a post which was true but he might not have hit a pot hole when he didn’t I still don’t get the bus from past car trauma I drive past the crash 5 days a week. There’s no pot holes where the crash was so maybe he was going to fast cuz my friends speed said the bus was going 50 mph when their capped at 53 mph and there’s a turn so either he’s been to close to the side of the road or hit the post to stop the bus BECUASE he couldn’t turn the corner. I’m still traumatised from the screams I heard on that bus before it crash one minute we’re all going “fly chicken bye chicken” (true thing) to petrified screams. It was my second awful crash this year as I was in the Ards newspaper for bravery, I tried to keep calm and then my mum didn’t answer the phone when I called the police they couldn’t track my location but eventually they did after that I tried to call her so I phoned my dad he answered and one I ended the call my mum phoned me I can’t remember much after due to a bad concussion and abit of memory loss. If u want any more info about it just ask.

I was at the scene because my sister was on the bus it's a Strangford college bus I couldn't stop crying that night it was scared if my sis needed any help because she was knocked out on the bus

Honestly surprised it hasn’t happened sooner, the speed at which translink drivers go at is mind boggling. Had one hit a massive bird once and not even react.
They drive way too fast on roads that are too narrow and in poor shape. Glad everyone was alright
