Foreign Secretary David Lammy has defended imposing arms restrictions on Israel – while not imposing a full weapons embargo.
Last month, Mr Lammy announced a partial arms embargo, which saw an exports ban on equipment intended for use in Gaza, such as components for military jets, helicopters and drones, as well as items which “facilitate ground targeting”.

If so many UK prime ministers have felt it necessary to place embargoes on weapons sales to their Israeli ally, doesn't this in and of itself show that they cannot be trusted with those weapons in the first place?

David "Paid by a Israel" Lammy, will never going to say anything bad about Israel as he's getting paid to keep quiet. The only thing he is concerned with is the lives of the Israelis, not a thought for the thousands of Palestine people that are getting bombed and shot. I hope the ICJ can draw up similar rulings about those giving weapons, and make them just as accountable as the ones dropping and firing, and he may then change his tune?
