The mother and father were drug addict child abusers. They are both at fault for their actions and bad behaviors. The father bought his 14 year old kid an AR 15 after the fact that he was investigated by the FBI for making threats online to shoot up the school. He would scream in his face to go do it. He antagonized the kid to do the shooting and even provided him with the gun and the ammo.

It should now be considered that if you have a weapon and children signed into a school, if that weapon is minimum caliber/cadence like an AR (or something measurable of the deadliness of the weapon), if its not secured away from those childrens, you should face 3 months in prison. They want all the freedom and none of the responsibility. Weapons are a right, ok, but they are also a responsibility.

If we suppose to get troubled White males out of our midsts for safety, then we'd get troubling Hispanic gang members, then Black antisocial kids–in that order… and see what happens statistically, bet there won't be any gun violence and our scholarly academic scores would improve. Oh, and those kids identified as antisocial and/or an existential threat to civilized education can come back but they are on probation, and their bookbags are checked, and rechecked, and their schedules, and their whereabouts, and their performance, progress.

Whole bunch of balls dropped here. FBI had this kid on radar for a year dad gave him the gun for Christmas school didn't follow up.on parents warning. This should have never gotten anywhere near that point.
