Now, the former prime minister has reflected on his premiership in his new memoir Unleashed.
In a wide-ranging interview with Sky’s Wilfred Frost, Mr Johnson discussed Brexit, Ukraine, Israel, his past apologies on partygate and how he thought people “craved” COVID-19 restrictions.
