the singer, 33, took to her Instagram on Sunday to announce her pregnancy with on/off boyfriend, Zion Foster, as she shared a snap of her growing baby bump.

In the caption, she explained she was expecting twins, as she confessed she was ‘eating for three’, and shared two baby emojis. 

Jesy was flooded with congratulatory messages from her fans and famous pals and among them was a heartwarming comment from ex Chris.

The Love Island star, 32, who dated Jesy for 16 months in 2020, wrote: ‘Go on girl’ followed by a heart and baby emojis.

Many fans praised Chris for showing support to his former girlfriend, writing: ‘this is too sweet. Great to see!!’; ‘you’re a great ex’; ‘love this! Supportive ex’s.. we love to see it ‘.

Chris and Jesy went public with their romance in January 2019, when they were seen enjoying a steamy date in a kebab shop, after weeks of rumours they were an item.

However, the pair called it quits in April 2020, with insiders revealing to MailOnline at the time that Jesy broke up with Chris over the phone in the midst of their separate self-isolation amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Chris later revealed the couple had ending things because they ‘grew apart’, and admitted finding the split ‘difficult’, as he described life after their separation as ‘a s**tstorm’.

But the reality star added that he had no regrets about the relationship and no bad feelings towards Jesy, revealing they were still ‘very good friends’.

Speaking to New Magazine, he said ‘It’s just one of those things — people grow apart and things happen. not everything is meant to last and the world would be very weird if everyone who went out with someone was with them for the rest of their lives.

‘I’m just grateful and fortunate that Jesy’s still a very good friend of mine.’

While he added to The Sun: ‘We’re very good friends and we enjoyed all that time together. I look back and I don’t look at anything with regret.

‘We still support each other and it was just a period in life where you move on. But it’s nice to look back on the good memories of my relationships with Jesy and there were plenty of good times. There’s no reason to not like each other.’

And in an exclusive interview with MailOnline later that year, Chris explained that he still supports the former Little Mix star, both publicly and privately.

He said: ‘Obviously we supported each other when we were together. I still support her now with things, whether I do that publicly or not, I still do support her anyway.’

Chris, said: ‘I’ve just got to tell her the good news. It’s been a worry for us both, so. Oh Jessica, I have a lot of sperm and they’re very, very active. I’m really happy.’

Jesy replied: ‘Yay, so we can have lots of babies?’ to which Chris said: ‘I think we can probably have three or four.’

Jesy’s pregnancy comes only five months after she and musician Zion, 26, were reported to have split in September.

The pair had been collaborating on tracks together with one being unveiled in August and the others yet to be released.

When their split was reported, a source told The Sun: ‘Jesy and Zion split last month and have completely cut ties with each other. It’s not the first time they have broken up but friends think it’s for good this time.

‘It’s slightly awkward though because they had an EP ready of music they have made together and Jesy doesn’t want it released now.

‘Fans have already heard one of their tracks and were hoping for more, but it’s looking pretty unlikely at this point.’

However, they hinted they had rekindled their romance in the pregnancy snap, as they cosied up together and Zion wrapped an arm around Jesy’s waist to rest on her blossoming bump.
