Despite my differences with Dearborn, most of the people who actually vote in Dearborn (who aren't out of state students) work long hours, and those folks backed up to the other parts of heavily union central Michigan aren't your average "campus protester". I don't think those values are something that is totally decided by the Israel Palestine issue. I think that's an error in the assessment presented.
