Hamas has published a video showing the first proof of life of two more hostages being held in Gaza.
In undated footage filmed under duress, Omri Miran says he has been held for 202 days and Keith Siegel mentions this week’s Passover holiday, indicating the clips were filmed recently.
Both were captured when Hamas launched its deadly attacks on 7 October.
Responding to the video, their families said they would keep fighting for the men’s return.
They also urged the Israeli government to secure a new hostage release deal.
The new video comes as Hamas said it was studying Israel’s latest proposal for a truce. Media reports said mediator Egypt had sent a delegation to Israel to give fresh impetus to stalled negotiations.

Has British and US mainstream media thought to include the words of the thousands of people who are now protesting in Israel? Or spoken to any of the entire population of beseiged Gaza? There are thousands of posts at social media, such as Insta gram, from journalists and citizen journalists in Gaza, who report when they can.
In a report on this video of hostages, from Tel Aviv, that I just watched at You Tube, some protesters (there were thousands) were interviewed, saying that they want an end to the war, they want a hostage deal to be the complete priority and they don't want a Rafah 'operation'. They feel that the leaders of Israeli and Palestinian people have shockingly let all of them down.
Watching from Australia, I feel that mainstream news in the UK and US is disturbingly lacking in awareness of the two countries decades, even a century long role in creating and enabling this absolute disaster.
To me, there still seems to be a disturbing detachment in the reporting, at least in this video. There are not two "sides"; there is an occupying State, which has been illegally occupied the longer existing…"lands", for decades. Had the UK not encouraged zionist immigration to Palestine – without even asking Palestinian people whether they agreed, had the US not kept "unconditionally" funding Israel, without any requirement to respect international law and had the UN not given "permission" for zionist immigrant to "found Israel", without Palestine's inhabitants consent – I doubt that the decades of violence and human rights violations would have happened.
Gazan people are not citizens of any State or country. Prior to now being victims of Genocide, they were described by multiple human rights organisations as being held under apartheid. Thus, to still speak of "two sides, fighting" represents a denial of reality.
Gazans are now being described as suffering from CTD (Continuous Trauma Disorder) and I think that many Israeli people would also be suffering in this way, if the interviews with today's protestors in Tel Aviv were representative?
The US and the UK governments and elites MUST stop putting their personal business interests above HUMANITY. Businesses are nothing, without WE THE PEOPLE to support them. To quote one of today's protesters in Tel Aviv: They need to PUT PEOPLE FIRST.
☮ END THIS HEINOUS "WAR" and RETURN ALL HOSTAGES, ON BOTH "SIDES".
☮ "Grant" Statehood to Palestine and internationally protect Palestinians' safety from Israel. (In 'granting', please stop trying to imply that the former occupiers are giving some great gift: the land should never have been divided, in the first place. Though it's not possible to go backwards, healing is possible, for the future).
☮ Israel, the US, the UK and other (decades long) enabling countries to begin a process of FORMAL APOLOGIES for BOTH offering already inhabited land (and even massacred peoples' furnished houses) to WWII refugees, who had few other choices about where to immigrate AND for the ongoing violence and extremely serious human rights violations against Palestinians, over the last century of zionist immigration to Falasteen (Palestine is the name that was given by UK and US colonials).
News about a proposal, related to apologies to Palestinians, was reported by the BBC, about two years ago. I intend to write to UK representatives, to express my wish and expectation that this proposal will be given the proper respect and attention that has been extremely sorely lacking.
