It seems James Haskell is off the market once again, as he has a new love interest following his split from Chloe Madeley.

Rugby player James, 39, and personal trainer Chloe, 37, who is the daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, announced their separation in October 2023.

The pair have remained amicable as they continue co-parenting their daughter Bodhi, who was born in August 2022.

But it now appears James has another new lady in his life, with their relationship becoming ‘more serious in recent months.’

Enter 34-year-old Helen Barclay, a single mum to two children who has reportedly been seeing James for over a year.

As reported by MailOnline, their relationship has jumped to the next level in recent months, as they have spent more time at one another’s houses and enjoyed a string of dates.

The stunning blonde does bear a striking resemblance to James’s ex-wife Chloe, as her gorgeous photos only highlight the likeness.

And James is clearly smitten, having commented compliments such as ‘fit’ underneath her pics, showcasing his flirty side.

An insider has claimed James and Helen got close after both of their marriages ended, as she recently split from her husband after over a decade together.

‘James and Helen have kept their relationship relatively low-key, enjoying dates at coffee shops and restaurants and going for walks since the latter end of 2023,’ the insider began.

‘But recently they’ve started to see more of each other, and they’re enjoying each other’s company.’

James and Helen ‘haven’t said they’re exclusive yet, but they’re certainly dating.’

‘They have a lot in common, especially both coming out of marriage splits,’ added the source.

‘It’s fair to say they’ve helped each other in what has been a tough period of their lives.’

James and Helen, who reportedly connected via a mutual friend, were photographed on a date at celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse last month. Her identity was not known at the time.

It’s been said that both parties are ‘unsure where [the relationship] will end up’, given that James frequently travels abroad with his DJ work.

‘But they’re not putting any pressure on it and are just having fun together. They’re exactly what they both need right now.’ 

Upon confirming he and Chloe had parted ways after much speculation, James insisted that his child with the fitness influencer would be the top priority.

In their joint statement, the exes declared she would be their ‘sole focus’ as they raise her with ‘nothing but love’.

As for Chloe, who documented their home life in their ITV reality show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, she previously championed James getting into a new relationship.

Speaking not long after their breakup, she told OK! ‘I decided that I didn’t want to be in my relationship anymore, so I don’t get to be angry when he moves on.

‘I’ve heard people say, “Well, let’s see how happy they are when there’s new people in the picture.” But I’m actually kind of here for James getting a new partner because there’s a lot of positives in it.’

She praised him for being a ‘great dad’ and ‘very respectful of Bodhi’.
