French governments refuse to give independance to all overseas territories, colonies…. For the same reasons why french military are yet in west africa…colonialism… they put in prison or kill overseas territories independantists who fight for their freedom for example in martinique and guadeloupe life is very expensive and the békés (whites descants of slavery masters) protected by the french government and their police and military gendarmerie contol all the economy of martinique and guadeloupe and decides of the prices

The producers are making money from the back of the population by establishing privileges relationships with French producers when they can export from economies closer to the island for cheaper.
