All of this growing stupid ass positive horseshit literally killed the main newscast formula. Nowadays it's really hard to find a local newscast that does not have a single positive moment, and that's why many anchors left the job because of its formula mixup. Many newscasts used to be completely Eyewitness, but not anymore.
As for the area I'm in right now, this is the main reason why I'm never watching my local ABC station's newscasts ever again. Not just because on how completely (and stupidly) addictive those shitty positive stories are by randomly throwing it into people's television sets, but my local ABC station's newscasts always show almost 90% of this horseshit covering almost the entirety of a single goddamn one-hour weekday newscast.
