All of the hype in this video about deep fakes, plagerism, and fewer workers, yet no discussion about what AI is currently doing to the U.S. banking and credit system.
Businesses want autopay and paperless statements and then charge huge late fees and excessive interest rates based on how the AI controlled U.S. Banking system processes the funds in your account amongst themselves. The AI currently being used under the Federal Reserve Banking System (Fiserve) is intentionally programmed to cause insufficient funds and late payment fees in favor of banks.

It is the theoretical state where

It is pure selflessness.
Infinite Point Empathy:
Refers to the maximum possible capacity for understanding
and sharing the feelings of others.
A life form at this point would be
hyper-attuned to the emotional and
physical needs of others,
operating solely to enhance collective well-being.

I was one of the few people, who's been saying this was coming, for ages now. I read Ray Kurzweil's book in the 2000s, and fully agreed with his reasoning, and his predictions of exponential progress.
Despite how scared some people are, and the fearmongering they spread.. We cannot stop AI, or how people will use it. No more than we could've stopped the invention of the photograph or printing press. Those things changed society in a huge way, forever, and so will AI, like it or not. Instead, we must adapt, the parts of our society which are incompatible with this level of AI and robot automation, must change. The biggest incompatibility likely being capitalism. The core of our economy will not be able to rely on human labor anymore, thus that cannot be used to determine our survival or success.
To transition our economy, we should probably implement an AI Dividend for All, from a tax on AI that replaces human taxpayers, to provide everyone a return on their data investment, which trains AI. AI cannot exist without a societal quantity of data, so it must benefit all in society.
I don't want AI tools banned, or regulated out of the hands of average individuals. I want them to be open, relatively unrestricted, and accessible to all!
