THIS is the jaw-dropping moment a plane plunges to the ground and erupts into flames next to a beach – killing one and injuring seven.
The jet crashed into tourist hotspot Ubatuba, Sao Paulo after attempting to land at the nearby airport.

The plane went crashing through security fences of the air terminal and was captured on CCTV skidding across two busy roads before erupting into flames on the beach.
Footage shows the jet travelling at unbelievable speed towards the beach.
It manages to pass by moving traffic without causing any crashes as cars abruptly stop to watch the horror crash unfold.
The jet is then captured reaching the beach front before erupting into flames.
Black smoke immediately billows from the aircraft.
Pedestrians who were strolling along the beach are captured desperately run from the inferno.
The pilot, who has died, reportedly couldn’t stop the speed of the plane.
All four passengers on the aircraft, including two adults and two children, were miraculously rescued alive in the horror incident.
One of the adults is in serious condition and a child is being monitored, local media reports.
Three other persons who were strolling along the promenade of Cruzeiro Beach were injured.
The concessionaire of Ubatuba Airport, Rede Voa, said the weather conditions were poor at the time of the accident from rain, causing a wet runway.
The Brazilian Air Force said that experts from the Center for the Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents were sent to the scene to investigate and determine the cause of the crash.
It comes after two people died in a terrifying plane crash after the aircraft smashed into a packed warehouse before exploding.
Harrowing footage shows the deadly collision as a giant fireball erupts after the small plane ripped through the building in California.
Another 19 people were left injured with at least 10 being rushed to hospital, according the Fullerton Police Department.
Others received emergency care just outside the warehouse which sat just six miles away from Disneyland.

Footage shows the moment the plane lost control and hit the warehouse as it flew in almost on its side.
As it hit a giant inferno ripped through the building as plumes of black smoke billowed into the air following the fireball blast.
