Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of Columbus Blue Jackets star Johnny Gaudreau, announced her pregnancy with their third child at Monday’s memorial service for him and his brother, Matthew Gaudreau.
on Aug. 29, Johnny Gaudreau, 31, and his brother Matthew Gaudreau, 29, were riding bikes in Salem County, New Jersey, when they were struck and killed by a driver suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
Matthew Gaudreau’s wife is also pregnant.

My youngest son was born 4 weeks before turned 40 I felt totally blissful….I remember thinking I won't ever be this happy again. I had a feeling life could balance the bliss with something bad. I felt God had given me this blessing because because he had to take something from me. One year later both of my parents died 4 weeks apart. In January, 2014, my husband of 42 years died of Hepatitis-C…a virus he contracted when he was in Vietnam. The day before my husband died, my youngest son said I was going to be a grandmother again. In August my beautiful grandson was born. I'm Catholic, and I did not question why God had to take the 3 people I loved most in my life. If you ever wonder if God really loves you, do not concentrate on what you lost but realize the blessings you received. I could not explain away the mirical of God's love because it happened not once but two times. How fortunate can one person be?b❤
