US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with China’s President Xi Jinping in Beijing, as part of efforts to shore up relations between the two countries.
But, while the China-US relationship is beginning to stabilise, but it is still being tested by “negative factors”, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.
Blinken’s visit to China comes days after a law that would force Chinese-owned TikTok to sell the video app or be banned in the US was passed.
It is also expected that US officials will raise China’s support for Russia during Blinken’s visit, with reports stating that Washington is prepared to act against Chinese companies that have been helping retool and resupply Russia’s defence industry, aiding them in their invasion of Ukraine.

With all due respect to Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, his persona does not exude strength and confidence. I believe Blinken really means well, but he's just not cut out for his role.
It appears China perceives Antony Blinken as weak and just another clone of Joe Biden. Sad time for America and our real time history unfolding before our very eyes with our diplomacy abroad.

As overseas Chinese, we should be grateful that our forefathers escaped from the "motherland" – a feudal hellhole under the Manchus and Mao made it worse. We are much better off than those on the "motherland" who should RUN before Emperor Xi apes Tsar Putin and do something really stupid. Blinken is trying to accuse China of election interference, I'm sure they tried that same crap with Russia. I think China, like Russia would prefer Biden at the helm. Biden makes America weak, so all China and Russia have to do is sit and wait for America's capitulation under Biden.
